It's to Gen X what the '50s were to the Boomers, so there's probably Gen Z kids growing up with their parents talking about the 1970's as the golden years. But, yeah, re: Hollywood, I'd say that it's Biskind's book -- I fondly remember reading that when I was young, but apparently it's half-bullshit.
